Ancol Nail Clippers (small)

Description

To allow a “one-stop”grooming shop, we have started stocking some of our favourote brushes and accessories.

We use these exact nail clipers on both Thor & Bella. The size works well on both smaller nails and Thor’s larger ones as tey take much less pressure to snip.

We are committed to reducing our packaging and using recycled and recyclable packaging. This now uses cardboard packaging that is widely recycled.

To use:

Ensure your dog is calm and still.

If your dog is new to having their claws trimmed, it may help to have another person present to hold your dog.

Hold the dog’s toe firmly, keeping it still.

Open the clippers by pulling the safety catch downwards.

The scissors have a guard which can be used to ensure only a small amount of nail is cut.

Place the clipper over the very end of the claw, and close it to remove the end of the claw.

Important: Remove only the very end of the claw. Cutting too much of the claw can cut the quick (a vein that rat runs through the claw) causing pain. For dogs with dark claws, it is difficult to see the quick, try looking from underneath the claw. No matter how long the claws are, proceed with caution and cut only the very end of the claw off. Long claws should bgularly clipped by small amounts to help the quick recede.
